Mass-Conn-Fusion Jazz Trio

As its name suggests, Mass-Conn-Fusion draws its talent from both sides of the Massachusetts-Connecticut border.

The band was formed at the University of Connecticut Music Department by bassist, James Healy. The original band name was Conn-Fusion.

Following school, Jim played extensively throughout Massachusetts with musicians from both Connecticut and Massachusetts, hence the name Mass-Conn-Fusion.

The band’s extensive repertoire features Motown, R&B, Funk along with hits of the 60's right up to the present. The full ensemble features female lead vocalists, horns and a solid rhythm section.
